Ethically Sourced Coffee

We have partnered with coffee roasters Pure Roast, in Lisburn, Northern Ireland. A family company started in 2006, Pure Roast are currently the only coffee roaster in Northern Ireland to achieve the BRC AA food standard accreditation, the highest quality standard achievable in their field. They specialise in convection roasting and service a wide range of clients.

We source all coffee beans from Pure Roast, along with our vending milk and hot chocolate used to dispense drinks through our machines.

The Environment

With the need for businesses to reduce their carbon footprint and develop/increase their sustainability initiatives, we strive to be as proactive as possible on that front. Below are some examples of how we are currently aiming to do our part.

Our Business Model

  • Email invoicing to reduce paper waste.
  • Speed limit on vans to reduce fuel consumption and emissions.
  • Only electric forklifts at our warehouse to reduce emissions.
  • Transition to an electric van fleet where possible, and as soon as.
  • Actively working to remove plastic from all our business activities.
  • Delivery grouping to ensure less journeys by our vans.

  • Will naturally degrade overtime even as litter.

Our Coffee Roasters

  • Specialised Loring convection roasting system, incinerating smoke and recirculates hot air.
  • Single burner system that can reduce gas usage and CO2 emissions by up to 70%.
  • Currently testing both compostable and 100% recyclable foil.
  • Aiming to remove plastic from their business entirely.
